HSW (Health, Safety and Well being of towers)

The self supporting towers which are designed for a specific wind speed and antenna loading, are installed at site based on detailed drawings, which are independently vetted by third party require seldom maintenance. However the safety and well being of towers required to be checked by Owners of tower after severe cyclones, which happen periodically. In addition at many locations the tower is over loaded more than the designed values. Also at some remote locations theft of bolts and members occur, leading to unsafe tower conditions. Due to poor quality of galvanizing few members and bolts gets corroded leading to structural inadequacy. Hence HSW is important in tower industry.

JTT is one of the leading companies in this field and few illustrations are given here highlighting some of the problems faced by Industry
